These terms cover website work and monthly plans from Basil Web Company ("we"), run by Matthew Basil in Tampa, Florida. By paying for a build or a plan, you agree to them.

What we do

We design and build a website for your business, and, on the optional plan, host it and make same-day updates (hours, photos, prices, new pages). What's included is what we agree on in writing before work starts.

The free month and payment

• Free month: we build your site and connect it to your domain at no cost and with no card. If it isn't paid for by the end of the 30 days, your original site goes back on your domain and you owe nothing.
• If you keep it: $500 for the build, plus $25 a month for hosting and same-day updates. Cancel the monthly plan anytime.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Refunds follow our refund policy.

Your domain

Connecting the site means updating where your domain points, which you approve and can help with. We only change what's needed for the website and leave your email settings alone, so your email keeps working.

Your content and your site

• You confirm you have the right to use the text, photos and logos you give us.
• Once the $500 is paid, the site design and files are yours. Your domain stays registered to you the whole time.
• We may show your finished site in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.

Our responsibility

We build carefully and fix what doesn't work as described. We aren't responsible for outages at your domain registrar or hosting provider, or for lost business. Our total liability is limited to what you've paid us.
